Covenant Youth Group
A non-denominational group designed to help area youth (5th grade-12th grade) live a Christian life, have fun and help others.
We welcome everyone from any church or without a church home. Our guided principles are from the Bible:
2 Peter 1 (NIV)
Make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month (September-May) from 5-7 p.m. at Covenant United Church of Christ, Gasport, for fellowship, study, planning and fun!
Our leaders are Scott and Pam Brauer, Tammy Hilts, Chris Jones, Donna Rice, Wendell Silsby, Jeff and Kim Yates.
Children’s Jubilee is an after-school program for elementary age (Grades K through 4) children on Thursdays. This safe and relaxed atmosphere engages them with a variety of enriching activities, including arts & crafts, music, cooperative & team building games, drama, Christian story-telling, seasonal celebrations, and more!
Covenant Nursery School
A nurturing caring place since 1985
If you’re going to succeed in today’s society, you need to be ready to face certain challenges. In fact, in order to accomplish many goals in life you must know how to problem solve, cooperate and work with others. It is not always easy, but in most cases it is exciting and rewarding to achieve success in these areas. By enrolling your child in nursery school you are giving him/her the advantage of a valuable start to their school years. We, at Covenant call this ‘Successful Start to Learning. ‘With this program we begin a life-long learning process by focusing on the social and play aspects pertaining to your child’s age level.
Our program allows children to enhance their ability of socialization through songs, dance, finger plays, dramatic plays, stories, art and cooperative activities. A balanced curriculum is planned of structure and free choice activities for the children and is designed to incorporate all areas of development. Focus is also placed on logical thinking and problem solving.
Our goal at Covenant Nursery School it to provide a safe, cheerful and encouraging environment for our students. We take pride watching friendships being formed, confidence evolving and happy children that can’t wait to come to Nursery School!
